Those of you who know us well know that we have been tossing this idea around for years. Well, the time has finally come to put some plans in motion and start building our little family!
The wealth of information out there right now on international adoption is insane!!! I am currently digging through the world wide web in search of something that makes sense and feels right for our family...interrupting Brandon every 5 minutes to update him on something new or interesting all along the way! (Sorry honey).
Here's what we know so far:
- We want to adopt from Africa (preferably southern Africa)
- We are open to adopting 2 children (twins, young siblings, 2 unrelated infants)
- We are excited!!!!!
Right now, we are in the information process. i.e. hours on end in front of the computer and have decided to give ourselves until the New Year to learn a bit more, make some decisions, and prepare financially and emotionally for our journey ahead!
